🤝 Caritas & AI Austria Collaborate for a Brighter AI-Driven Future
In 2022 enliteAI set-up a pro-bono project at Caritas, with the aim to explore possible applications for AI within the diverse non-profit environment. Over time this project grew and saw selected AI Austria members such as our own Matthias Grabner participating. Most recently we organized an in-house workshop at Caritas, to delve deeper into how AI can be applied more effectively. Additionally, we welcome Leftshift One, who supported us with their in-depth expertise on LLM. We are looking forward to sharing more results with you in the near future.

🗞️ AI newsroom made in Austria

💼 Austria's AI-Strategy Website Priced at €100,000
The Austrian government launched an official website for its 'Artificial Intelligence Mission Austria 2030' (AIM AT 2030), aimed at navigating Austria into the age of AI. Managed by Austria's Ministry for Climate Protection and the Finance Ministry, the site has faced criticism for its high price of nearly €100,000 for merely 770 words and limited information. The costs and decisions surrounding the website have been brought to light by a parliamentary inquiry. Questions were brought up by the media about the website's necessity, especially when older strategy documents are available on existing platforms. Details of the inquiry can be found here and further coverage is provided by trending topics and heute.at.
